Wanted to let everyone know that Ray went over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday around 1:30. The surgery to remove his lung tumors was pretty much of a disaster – many complications and unforeseen problems. Forgive me if I don’t elaborate right now. I am devastated and heartbroken. Thank you all for supporting us through our past difficulties – it helped me a lot.

I’m so sorry to read this… and my cheeks are wet as I feel your pain. It never gets easier… reading these final posts.. it hurts… it’s painful and we cry with you. We mourn with you. We understand the ache, the hole, the lonliness and the tears that will flow. We understand. We really do…
We also understand.. and so does Ray, that you did your best.. you loved him with all your heart and then some. No one can take that away from you.. and no one understands better than we do.
That sweet boy is not in pain anymore, and he is running around the meadows by the Bridge with all the other loved four leggers there! We can smile imagining them all at play, healthy and strong, vibrant and full of gusto.

Sometime it just cmes down to, “when it’s your tme…it’s your time” and nohing can change that.
That Ray is a “golden” who lives a golden life! Look at that face! That s one happy, sweet dog who clearly has been immersed in love all his life!
And Ray is taking all that love with him. And he’s left all hs love there for you. He tucked it neatly in the corner of your heart.
I’m just so sorry. We love Ray and he will NEVER be forgotten!

Oh, I am so sorry. I was thinking about him yesterday and hoping to read a post much different. Ray was and will always be special to me — another beautiful golden has earned his wings. I wish this had a different ending, and I am sorry for your loss. Ray was so well loved and such a beautiful soul. We will all miss his enormous, golden smile.
